Politics is something a lot of us aren’t keen to get into, but it inevitably effects us Americans and so it’s important to pay attention to. Democracy Docket is an independent outlet that shines a light on important topics that don’t get the media coverage they really should. Topics often covered are impactful court rulings, elections, and political happenings.
AP News
The Associated Press is a key news source that reports from all over the world. They present topics without interjecting opinion. Many other news networks rely on their reporting.
Flipboard is a mobile app that aggregates news articles from all sources for you to read on their app. It’s probably the most accessible way to read news all in one place and I’ve used it a lot. It has a unique flipping motion where you flip through the articles like vertical pages rather than scroll down.

The Cincinnati Enquirer
It is increasingly easier to keep up with national and global news, but local news often goes under the radar. The Cincinnati Enquirer is a local newspaper that has stories about Cincinnati sports teams, projects, disasters, and so on, as well as covering national topics. They are the last circulating daily newspaper in Cincinnati but they also have their stories on their website.
